Are teleservice-managers at the Social Security Administration paid too much money?
Many of them are at a GS-12 level and, to me, $73,000 per year is too much money to pay somebody to listen-in on their unit's telehone calls all day long!
This is US, federal government, financial waste at it's most wasteful!
OOPS...I misspelled 'telephone'!
A-Best: ALL managers, both private and public sector, are overpaid. Studies have shown that employees are much more productive if there is no manager getting in the way. I once worked in an office located 2,500 miles from our manager, who only visited once every quarter. We were the most productive office in our region.
