Question:

What's your favorite page of a book?
And don't say, 'the first' or 'the last.' I mean a number. Which page number gives you the most satisfaction consistently when you read? Seriously, when I'm reading any book and I get to page 73 it never fails to amaze me. 73 is always so awesome! 152 comes in second. How about you? Dix - You really like the last page, huh? It's okay, I guess, but it's no 73. :P

A-Best: 73?!? Dude, that's just weird. 73 sucks! It's ol' 55 all the way in my world. That or 923, but that puppy only rolls around every once in a blue moon. I once had a special moment with a 116 but that'll never come again, I fear. You know the old saying, if you love something set it free... Oh, try it Dix, you'll never forget! S/he's fickle T.S.R., I'm warning you, hang on to your heart or you'll find it trampled in the dust. S/he'll be calling you from Dix's house just to say goodbye. If I were you I'd be good to your 188. Yeah, he's a quick ONE ain't he, Dix?  

A: My sister and I had a nanny when we were kids. She used to make us eat popsicles with a knife and fork.  

A: page 92, idk why.  

A: I am always interested to see what is on page 666. That's about it. I don't expect anything amazing to happen though.  

A: Page 45 is always amazing!!!  

A: 131. Most of the books I read are plus or minus a few pages shy of twice this number so it means I am halfway through. I always want more when I read the book but halfway is like a milestone to me.  

A: Depends which book it is.  

A: Ya know, I've just never thought about it. My immediate answer, and the only ONE I have that I wouldn't have to make up, is ONE of the ONEs you said I couldn't say. I guess you have 50-50 odds of figuring out which ONE I'm talking about since it has to be ONE or the other. **I used to think I liked it best but now reader has me all eager to check out page 116. **Vet, you're just too astute!  

A: Page 123 makes me smile. I like hitting the 100-mark, too! 111's fun as well.  

A: 188. Always amazing. -Always-. Reader, 116 is with -me- now. (S)he says you need to get over it and move on. Oh, and it doesn't know I'm in love with 188. Let's keep it on the 'down-low'.  

A: 99. The suspense of reaching three digits...it's amazing.  

A: To be totally honest I don't pay attention to page numbers or even chapter numbers. And I don't use bookmarks. I always find my place in a book by sight and feel. However... on CDs track 4 is almost always my favorite. Does that count somehow?
